Description: 11-day-old Rylie helps me to demonstrate how to use a ring sling in the cradle and vertical-hold positions safely. Be sure that your baby is high on your torso--the lowest part of the pouch must be above your belly button. The pouch should not leave contact with your body even when you lean forward. Your baby's head, neck and back of shoulders should make a straight-line. There must be at least a two-finger gap between their chin and chest. There must not be any part of the sling covering your baby's face, and you should be able to see their face while you are wearing them.
